Who is your child becoming?

The trip ends. Who they become doesn't.

Our Vision

Adventure is just the beginning.

We're building something much bigger than guided trips.

The Compass Project exists to help families raise capable humans through challenge, perspective and adventure.

In time, this will include expeditions, films, educational resources, community and mentorship. For now, we're focused on building the philosophy.

Follow the Journey

This began with one father's 21-day expedition that changed how he saw the world. It has since become something much bigger than one family's story.

Why We Exist

Small worlds make big problems.

MISSION

The mission

To help families raise capable humans by using adventure to build perspective, confidence, and character.

THE ENEMY

Small worlds

When our world is small, today's problems feel like everything. Adventure expands our world.

CORE BELIEF
"A bigger world creates smaller problems."

"Adventure is the method. Character is the outcome."

Character is.

A bigger world creates smaller problems.

Challenge

Children grow through doing hard things.

Confidence

Confidence cannot be given. It must be earned.

Capability

Every adventure teaches children what they are capable of.

Character

Who they become matters more than what they achieve.
